View Samples12-oxo-phytodienoic acid (OPDA) and phytoprostane A1 (PPA1) are cyclopentenone oxylipins that are formed via the enzymatic

View Samples12-Oxo-phytodienoic acid (OPDA) and several phytoprostanes are structurally related cyclopentenone oxylipins that can be formed via the enzymatic jasmonate pathway and a non-enzymatic, free radical-catalyzed pathway, respectively. To elucidate the biological activities of phytoprostanes in comparison to OPDA as well as the metabolism we performed genome-wide expression analysis.

View SamplesMesoderm differentiation in zebrafish relies on a complex interaction between transcription factors and signaling pathways. Tbx16 is a t-box transcription factor involved in this interaction. Here, we examine downstream targets of tbx16 in the intermediate mesoderm at the 4/5-somite stage and tail mesoderm at the 21-somite stage by comparing wild-type tissues with tissues from the tbx16 mutant, spadetail (spt).
Spatio-temporal regulation of Wnt and retinoic acid signaling by tbx16/spadetail during zebrafish mesoderm differentiation.

View SamplesTo identify genes associated with the heat stress (HS) memory, transcript profiling using Affymetrix ATH1 microarrays was performed to compare Col-0 seedlings after the priming stimulus with control plants (unprimed).
The plastid metalloprotease FtsH6 and small heat shock protein HSP21 jointly regulate thermomemory in Arabidopsis.

View SamplesBackground: Cystic fibrosis (CF) is caused by mutations in the CFTR gene that impair function of this cAMP-regulated Cl- channel. In the small intestine, loss of CFTR function creates a dehydrated, acidic luminal environment which is believed to cause an accumulation of mucus, a phenotype characteristic of CF. CF mice have an innate immune response and impaired intestinal transit as well. We investigated whether lubiprostone, which activates the CLC2 Cl- channel, would improve the CF intestinal phenotype.
Lubiprostone ameliorates the cystic fibrosis mouse intestinal phenotype.

View SamplesGlobal transcriptome patterns were determined in XVE-14 and wild-type seedlings induced for 45 min b-estradiol in order to identify the genes early regulated by EBE transcription factor.
